The Rotterdam Klezmer Band
Founded in January 2010 by Vanessa Vromans.
The Rotterdam Klezmer Band plays traditional Klezmer music in a very
unconventional line-up:
Vanessa Vromans (Australia/The Netherlands, born in Curacao) - fiddle, Fausto
Sierakowski (France/Italy, born in Poland) - alto saxophone, Michiel Ockeloen
(The Netherlands) - accordion, and Georg Brinkmann (Germany) - clarinet, bass
clarinet & vocals.
Moving, thrilling, foot tapping, groovy music from the Eastern European
Jews - Klezmer!
These international musicians bring their experience and passion from across the globe to move audiences from their hearts to their feet.
